Reference sensors
The pH measurement is basically the measurement of differential electricity
generated between two sensors/electrodes. This electric potential, expressed in mV,
occurs due to the presence of ions H+ that are "absorbed" by the glass sensor in
relation to the reference system. Once the pH measurement is highly disseminated and
used throughout the world and in almost all sectors and chemical segments, it was agreed
to use a single pH sensor, named Combined. This piece has on its single body,
sensors of measuring and reference. However, some technical and elaborate procedures
require the use of a reference sensor separate from the measuring sensor. For these cases
choose the model or type of application. Importantly, the sensors reference only measure
pH when used in conjunction with the SM01measuring sensor.
